ENplus® Celebrates 15 Years of Setting the Global Standard for Wood Pellet Quality
ENplus®, the world’s leading certification scheme for wood pellet quality, celebrates its 15th anniversary this year. Since its creation in 2010, ENplus® has played a defining role in shaping a reliable and transparent pellet market, ensuring that consumers and businesses can trust the quality of every certified pellet they use.
Over the past 15 years, ENplus® has become the reference point for pellet quality assurance worldwide. What began as a European initiative has grown into a truly international scheme, now certifying producers, traders, and service providers in about 50 countries. By setting clear standards and maintaining rigorous controls, ENplus® has contributed to greater efficiency, confidence, and fairness in the global pellet supply chain.
“Fifteen years ago, ENplus® was launched with a simple but powerful goal: to ensure consistent, high-quality pellets for consumers,” shares Elena Dumitru, Certification Director. “Today, the certification stands as a symbol of trust and professionalism across the industry. This is also reflected in the recognition of the European Cooperation for Accreditation, as ENplus® is the only accredited scheme for wood pellet quality.”
