2024 Wood Heat Conference -16th & 17th October
The REA’s Wood Heat Conference is live and open for bookings. This two-day conference is taking place on 16th-17th October 2024 at the beautiful Delta Nottingham Belfry Hotel.
With a new government in place, Wood Heat 2024 is set to be a crucial event for understanding what the latest change in administration will mean for the biomass heat industry. Join us to explore what a Labour government means for our sector and how the REA’s Wood Heat Forum is engaging with policymakers.
Building on the success of last year’s conference, the agenda will focus on how we can improve the industry messages around some of our biggest challenges to growth, including myth busting issues on air quality and sustainability. Additionally, join us to hear about real success in the industry, highlighting new opportunities and insightful lessons on what we need to be doing to grow the sector. This includes several ‘Biomass Installation Spotlight’ sessions, demonstrating the best examples of biomass heat in the UK.
We are planning an array of exceptional guest speakers from organisations such as DESNZ, Ofgem, UKPC, Woodsure, Biomass Connect, Supergen Bioenergy Hub, LC Energy, and many more. A detailed programme of sessions and guest speakers will be available soon.
