National pellet associations from 12 countries implemented and manage ENplus® locally, and therefore receive the license rights from Bioenergy Europe for the certification. National Promoting Associations are organisations supporting the management of the scheme at national level and acting as a bridge between companies and the ENplus® International Management.
The Bioenergy Europe organization
Bioenergy Europe (formerly known as AEBIOM) is the voice of European bioenergy. It aims to develop a sustainable bioenergy market based on fair business conditions.Founded in 1990, Bioenergy Europe is a non-profit, Brussels-based international organisation bringing together more than 41 associations and 143 companies, as well as academia and research institutes from across Europe.

The European Pellet Council (EPC)
The ENplus® certification is managed by the European Pellet Council (EPC), which coordinates and develop the scheme according to the ground realities of the pellet market. EPC is a network of Bioenergy Europe, and the voice of the pellet sector in Europe. Its members are national pellet associations or related organisations from 20 countries.
